She is best known for her role as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox TV series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender from the Dawson's creek series. She also played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light, a role which earned her a 2003 Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for the best newcomer. Dollar also played Cindy Thomas, the ABC Television series Women's Murder Club's star from 2007 until 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show never picked up.
