Adding to this her score, she added six more perfect tens, and was the most youthful Olympic gold medalist. Nadia Comaneci has not only been the focus of attention everywhere however she also assisted Romania in gaining a place on the map of international recognition. A sports legend came into the spotlight after securing an unprecedented score, thus creating a legend and popularizing gymnastics as a game throughout the globe. Women's perception of athletes was also altered by her performances.
